End of the Weekend - Kelly

Thank you all for praying so much this weekend. Please keep praying as we head into tomorrow. Kyle will have another EEG tomorrow. They will be looking to see if this medicine is helping with the siezures. We are asking God to completely heal Kyle's brain and restore it to perfection. Please pray with us.

Tomorrow starts a new big week for us - a new doctor, a new neurologist. Please pray for all of Kyle's doctors, NPs and nurses - that God would give them wisdom as they work to help Kyle & ask the Lord to bless them and to move in their lives through Kyle the way He is in ours. They are amazing people, please pray blessings over them and their homes and families.

Again, I know we say this lots in our blogs but... truly... thank you for praying. I am so humbled that you would make our family and our youngest son a priority in your lives. I will spend forever being grateful for you and our true community.

- and i have new pics that will be up tomorrow!

Father in Heaven, I come to you this morning and I praise you for who you are and I thank you for continuing to take care of Kyle and his family.

I ask you today Father to send doctors, nurses and a whole team of people to care for Kyle who are skilled and will know exactly what to do to care for "our" baby. I ask that you send Christians who will understand the need to be in touch with You for guidance!

I pray Father that you give that team of professionals the wisdom and knowledge to care for Kyle in a very special way. We love you Father and give YOU the praise and honor for the healing that has happened and the healing that is still to come. Thank you Father again for who you are. I ask Father that you give Kelly and John a sense of peace about the new rotation of staff that is coming to care for Kyle. I ask that you let them know that you have already taken care of it and the people coming are sent by YOU!

I ask Father that you continue to be with Jack and Jadon and help them to be the best little boys that they can be while mommy and daddy are away. Please be with the people at home who are taking care of business while John and Kelly are away. Father I ask that you bless those people in an unbelievable way for thelove, kindness and committment they have shown. I pray all this in the precious name of Jesus and for his sake! Amen

I am anxious to see the new pictures!! :)

Still praying, still believing and still EXPECTING healing.

Lord, my God, my Savior, my King, in your name, and the in the power that you have taught us your name carries, I ask you, right now, God to heal Kyle's brain. Lord you have proven yourself, over and over. You have said to us that you are good, and faithful and righteous and just. And you have proved yourself, over and over. Even in the midst of brain bleeds and seizures and infections, you have proven yourself.

God, you have given us 6 weeks of incredible doctors and nurses and we thank you for them. Now God we are asking you to bless the staff of new caregivers that Kyle will have. Give them wisdom beyond measure, hearts filled with your grace and compassion. Let them be precise and thoughtful in the way they treat Kyle as he continues to mature. Thank you for bringing Kyle a brilliant neurologist. Thank you for his nurses. Thank you for Brandi (and all the other ones whose names I don't know).

Today, give Kelly peace as she looks at yet another EEG. Sits and waits for yet another round of tests. Fill her with Joy. Protect her as you say in your Word in Zechariah 2:5 “For I, says the Lord, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.”

We ask you because you say we can, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Last night was in a Bible Study leader meeting and we sang Jesus Loves Me after our prayer time ...

Just struck me as I was singing

"Little ones to Him belong -
They are weak but He is strong"

We know Kyle is weak, but more importantly we believe He is strong and will continue to meet the needs of his precious little one.

Blessings on you as this new week begins. Will continue to pray.

Still praying... haven't stopped, just haven't been commenting.

I keep an old Breakaway CD in my car, every time I listen to it, I am reminded to pray.

Our Story

This story begins with 5 people. John, Kelly, Jadon, Jack, and Kyle (he is only 23 weeks old... and he is still safely tucked away in his mommy's belly) In an hour's time Kyle made his way into the world. 1 pound, 3 ounces- 11 and a half inches long. This family will never be the same. This child is a warrior. He has the spirit of a Lion, and more courage than a whole pride. He is fierce, and fearless- and he is teaching us to fear the Lord- and to believe that God is in our midst and healing even now. Join us as pray, as we praise, and as we journey through this life as lovers of God and all His glory.

Kyle is in the March of Dimes Promo!
