On the way home!

Kyle all buckled up and ready to go!
Saying goodbye to all his friends at Hermann Memorial Children's Hospital!  don't worry, I'll be back to visit.
First bath time at home! Kyle seems to love it here!

Thank you for all of you that are praying for us.  I can't even describe our emotions to have kyle here in our home.  "right" might be a good word.  no matter how hard, how scary, how SLEEPY, it is right!  I'll post more later - lots to do - including sleep!

I am a friend of the Cherry family and they sent me the link to your blog and I have been praying for your family from the beginning....begging God on behalf of you to breathe healing and health inside your little one. As a new mom, my little boy was born just days before Kyle, I ached and cried and prayed daily for you all, as I thought about my own little boy. Thank you for your honesty, your rawness...reading this blog has spurred me on in my walk with Christ. The joy in my heart at seeing his going home pictures is indescribable!! God is SOO good!! And I do believe God is still in the business of doing miracles, and Kyle is one of them. I will continue to lift Kyle and your family up in my prayers. Hallejuiah, God is amazing. We're so happy for you guys finally getting to bring him home.

Love in Christ,
The Dancer family

p.s. I must say he is quite a handsome little boy!!!

I have been following Kyle's story for quite a while now and he is always in our prayers. The pictures of his homecoming are incredible. What a sweet little boy! My preemie came home with an apnea monitor also and that thing was so LOUD! There were nights when it literally made us jump six feet out of bed LOL You and your whole family will be in our prayers - God has truly given you a miracle.

Amazing - incredible - a miracle. I am reading with tears streaming down my face! I found your blog when my daughter came home from Sunday School with a Pray for Kyle card. I have checked often and prayed daily. God is good!! Best of luck! And thank you for sharing your story with us.

Dear Kyle,
There have been so many people praying for you ever since you were born and we have all been waiting for the day that you would be able to go home. People like me, and many others, have learned to pray faithfully and to become better prayer warriors because of your mommy and daddy. We have learned so much from your mommy and daddy about their deep love for you, Jadon, and Jack and their total devotion to God. I am one of the lucky ones that knew your mommy and daddy and sweet brothers before you were born while thousands (yes, thousands) have learned to love you and your parents and brothers like I do because of the wonderful blog they did to keep us all up to date on your progress. I look forward to seeing you again soon and know that God has brought you into this world and home now to be with those who love you because He loves you so much. Please be patient with all of us who want to continue to hear from your mommy and daddy about you and your progress. We promise not to take them away from you or wake you up from naps with phone calls or stop by with coughs or runny noses but instead promise to continue to pray and hear about your progress on your Prayforkyle.com. Thanks for all who have done and do so much "at home" for your mommy and daddy and brothers; what Angels they are. You and your family remain in my prayers and in my heart forever.
Luv

Our Story

This story begins with 5 people. John, Kelly, Jadon, Jack, and Kyle (he is only 23 weeks old... and he is still safely tucked away in his mommy's belly) In an hour's time Kyle made his way into the world. 1 pound, 3 ounces- 11 and a half inches long. This family will never be the same. This child is a warrior. He has the spirit of a Lion, and more courage than a whole pride. He is fierce, and fearless- and he is teaching us to fear the Lord- and to believe that God is in our midst and healing even now. Join us as pray, as we praise, and as we journey through this life as lovers of God and all His glory.

Kyle is in the March of Dimes Promo!
