Kyles bed time routine holds much of kyles sensory diet and bc of that our 30 minutes before bed is always the same! So part of this is praying. I pray and then he prays. And it is so amazing to me how even Kyle at 2 picks up on how we pray. I don't do cutsie prayers with my kids at bed time... I pray over them... I speak to God from my heart and let them listen in. And even still my Kyle has picked up on how I usual begin by thanking god. Then I give him my todo list, then always close by recapping the most important...
So this was kyles prayer last night.
"dear god thank you healing my brain, thank you go to mcDonalds tomorrow for breakfast, don't let my dreams get me"
.... We did go to mcdonalds this am! Who could resist that!
- John and Kelly
- This story begins with 5 people. John, Kelly, Jadon, Jack, and Kyle (he is only 23 weeks old... and he is still safely tucked away in his mommy's belly) In an hour's time Kyle made his way into the world. 1 pound, 3 ounces- 11 and a half inches long. This family will never be the same. This child is a warrior. He has the spirit of a Lion, and more courage than a whole pride. He is fierce, and fearless- and he is teaching us to fear the Lord- and to believe that God is in our midst and healing even now. Join us as pray, as we praise, and as we journey through this life as lovers of God and all His glory.
