Pictures 11/7 - Kelly

Here are some pics of Kyle; his little lion watching over him and mom holding him during kangaroo care! Holding Kyle was indescribable. It was as if what had been taken away too soon was put back - it really did make everything right for that 2 hours. I think Kyle felt the same way!

Also for those of you that have been praying for me today thankyou. We had a really tough day of doctors reports and Kyle is facing some big problems right now - but even in this God's grace is sufficient and right now his peace passes my understanding. Please read John's blog for today and continue praying, begging, and interceding for Kyle.

Precious pictures. I praise God you had those two hours in the midst of a tumultuous time. I pray that God continues to bless you and encourage you by his Spirit through friends, prayers, encouragaging reports, and special moments.

I also pray that those moments happen more and more frequently and that you continue to be honest and faithful.

John, I am blessed by your openness, don't ever apologize for that. Just continue to trust and hold on and persevere the way you have. Your faithfulness is another way God is receiving great glory.

When Paul was talking to the Corithians about the weight of ministry he makes this declaration:

Not that we are competent inourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

I cannot imagine how you feel, and won't insult you by saying I do... I love y'all too much. But when you feel that you do not have the strength to keep going, it's because you don't. None of us have the strength to do anything of value for God. But PRAISE GOD he is in you and his word gives you hope and his Spirit gives you strength. HE IS SUFFICIENT to carry you through and he will.

I don't want to give cliches, I just want SO MUCH to encourage you. I have been praying for y'all since I found your page. Our church prayed for you on Wednesday at our prayer fellowship.

Keep trusting God... he is not only going to use this for his glory, but he IS using this for his glory. He is not only ministering to you, and teaching you, but he is instructing all who have joined you in this journey. Thank you for the opportunity to pray for and witness GREAT things from the hand of God.

i love how precious this is. Sweet little thing. He needed to feel his momma's heartbeat. I'm SO glad that happened - and hope there are more and more of those Kangaroo times to come in the upcoming weeks.

Our Story

This story begins with 5 people. John, Kelly, Jadon, Jack, and Kyle (he is only 23 weeks old... and he is still safely tucked away in his mommy's belly) In an hour's time Kyle made his way into the world. 1 pound, 3 ounces- 11 and a half inches long. This family will never be the same. This child is a warrior. He has the spirit of a Lion, and more courage than a whole pride. He is fierce, and fearless- and he is teaching us to fear the Lord- and to believe that God is in our midst and healing even now. Join us as pray, as we praise, and as we journey through this life as lovers of God and all His glory.

Kyle is in the March of Dimes Promo!
