Kyle's NICU Story in Pictures

Some pics from the past couple of weeks!

It is so nice to be home from summer.  Or maybe I should say to have john home from summer.  I am really excited about dinners at home, time with the boys in the evening, and just being together as a family.  The older the boys get the more important this feels.  I think maybe for me it is just a combination of jadon growing up, kyles rough start in life and an ever growing awe for just how great a gift God has given us in our families.  Here are some pics of the last few weeks!

Jack & Kyle in their robes.

Game Night!

Tonight's game was Operation.  This new version where you hear sneeze noises until you retrieve the booger, and the gas sounds until you retrieve the gas bubbles!  WOW have things changed since our version in the 80's.  The boys LOVED this version!

1st time for all 3 boys in the same tub!

Having a ball - Kyle loves to be sitting up in his big boy seat!

Kelly,
I am just smiling from ear to ear. I can't wait to see Jack and Jadon at SonKids. And I just can't wait to get to see Kyle. They are precious beyond words. I am going to go to sleep with their little faces in my mind. Take care.

Kelly,
I am an acquaintance of Angie Gillikin and I have been so blessed by your family. I have a 10 month old son, Jackson. I have been praying for Kyle and have been "addicted" to your website! I love the updates and pics... the boys are all so handsome.

Blessed,
Juliet LeBlanc

Kelly ~ These pictures make me want to sit here and cry tears of joy! Just seeing all of you home and happy is such a blessing! These pics are priceless! What handsome boys...all 3 of them! I'm so glad I popped in! Thanks for sharing! Jadon needs to come to children's choir on Wednesday nights with John! Peyton would love it! Let me know and we will be sure to get him to where he needs to go! Carrie

Our Story

This story begins with 5 people. John, Kelly, Jadon, Jack, and Kyle (he is only 23 weeks old... and he is still safely tucked away in his mommy's belly) In an hour's time Kyle made his way into the world. 1 pound, 3 ounces- 11 and a half inches long. This family will never be the same. This child is a warrior. He has the spirit of a Lion, and more courage than a whole pride. He is fierce, and fearless- and he is teaching us to fear the Lord- and to believe that God is in our midst and healing even now. Join us as pray, as we praise, and as we journey through this life as lovers of God and all His glory.

Kyle is in the March of Dimes Promo!
