Some Days are Just Hard - The Nanny Chronicle

Thursday was a tough day for Jadon. He just really misses his mom and dad, and last night he said so. He's five. This is tough for all the grown-ups to understand, so it only makes sense that a five year old wouldn't get it either. All he knows is that he wants his mom and dad.

Miss Jen tried to make the most of the day. They were going to fly kites, but who knew that stores don't sell kites in November? So they painted some pictures and wrote some love notes to Kelly.

Later in the evening, Zack came over and he and Jadon built an olympic swimming pool out of legos (complete with diving towers)! We took a picture of it so everyone could see how truly awesome it was. By bedtime, he was laughing and smiling.

Don't forget to pray for Jack and Jadon every day. Pray for the time, any amount of it, that they get to spend with their mom and dad will be immeasureable to them.

We love you guys and are FERVENTLY praying for each of you and especially little Kyle. I pray that the Lord will give strength, health and courage to the lion He has uncaged. I am DEEPLY moved by the faith you are showing as I read your blogs. You guys are such witnesses for God's glory even in the midst of despair. Our Story

This story begins with 5 people. John, Kelly, Jadon, Jack, and Kyle (he is only 23 weeks old... and he is still safely tucked away in his mommy's belly) In an hour's time Kyle made his way into the world. 1 pound, 3 ounces- 11 and a half inches long. This family will never be the same. This child is a warrior. He has the spirit of a Lion, and more courage than a whole pride. He is fierce, and fearless- and he is teaching us to fear the Lord- and to believe that God is in our midst and healing even now. Join us as pray, as we praise, and as we journey through this life as lovers of God and all His glory.
